TransNexus customers exchanging BCID calls with Verizon

We saw an announcement from a Branded Calling ID (BCID) representative that Verizon Wireless has begun displaying branded calling information on calls it receives with BCID caller information. We reached out to some of our voice service provider customers using BCID to get their reaction to this exciting turn of events. Let’s have a look.

Branded Calling ID on Verizon

In mid-September 2025, CTIA announced that it had signed a contract to integrate BCID on Verizon’s wireless network. This was a big deal because Verizon has many wireless customers. Verizon’s participation greatly expands the reach of enterprise callers who wish to inform the people they call of their brand name, logo, and call reason using BCID.

Reaction from a few TransNexus voice service provider customers

We asked a few of our TransNexus customers who offer BCID branded calling services for their reaction to this news. Here’s what we heard.

“We’re thrilled to see Verizon’s network fully embrace Branded Calling ID,” said R. Grant Baxley, Chief Executive Officer, TeleVoIPs. “This is a massive step in restoring trust in voice communication. The ability to display a verified company name and logo directly on the recipient’s screen is critical for enhancing credibility, and we are proud to offer this solution to ensure our clients’ important calls are answered.”

“At Fusion Networks, we provide Hosted Voice Service in multiple verticals where calls being answered directly impacts the bottom line,” said Zac Garsik, VP of Operations, Fusion Networks. “Being able to offer BCID empowers our customers to have more control over their Brand Experience and improved answer rates from their customers.”

TransNexus BCID support

The TransNexus ClearIP and NexOSS platforms support BCID for Originating and Terminating Service Providers (OSPs and TSPs). With these platforms:

  • Participating OSPs can originate calls for their enterprise customers that have signed up for BCID and use either ClearIP or NexOSS to enable the Signing Agent service, which puts vetted branded calling information in the signaling for the calls the enterprise wants to brand.
  • Participating TSPs can identify BCID information in the calls it terminates, display this information to its subscribers, and confirm the display of this information to the BCID platform to get paid for the display of this information.
