Here’s a quick review of robocall trends through February 2024.

The source data is from YouMail’s Robocall Index, a widely followed measure of robocall activity in the U.S.

Overall robocalls down in February

Figure 1 shows that overall robocalls were down 6.9% in February. The dashed green line shows that the linear trend for robocalls over this date range is still declining.

The bar chart at the bottom of Figure 1 compares robocalls in each month with the same month in 2023. Robocalls in February 2024 were down 8% from February 2023. That makes four consecutive months in which robocalls were down from the same month in the previous year.

Figure 2 shows that scam robocalls were down 6.9% in February 2024. The dashed green line shows a downward linear trend for scam robocalls.

The bar chart at the bottom of Figure 2 shows five consecutive months in which scam robocalls were lower than the same month in the previous year.
