TransNexus Releases NexOSS 6
TransNexus announced today the latest release of its industry leading VoIP Routing, Operations, and Billing Support System, NexOSS 6.0.
NexOSS provides VoIP operators with an easy to use web interface for provisioning routes, rates, number translation rules and monitoring traffic analysis and billing reports. With the new release, NexOSS is optimized to work with BroadSoft’s BroadWorks network elements and services.
TransNexus has been a member of the BroadSoft Xtended program since 2012. NexOSS 6.0 offers enhanced fraud detection and credit controls for BroadWorks customers. The software recognizes fraud and enforces credit controls by BroadWorks Service Provider ID and Group ID. In addition, the software supports the BroadWorks Provisioning Open Command Interface (OCI-P) to automatically change routing policies in the BroadWorks when a fraud or credit control trigger is activated.

According to Michael Brousseau, VP of VoIP Engineering at A.C.N., the world‘s largest direct seller of telecommunications services, the new release of NexOSS has enabled his organization to implement centralized Least Cost Routing (LCR), fraud detection, and credit controls on a multi-national scale.
“We worked closely with TransNexus to develop these new features,” said Brousseau. “The ability to centralize our routing and integrate with our existing network has meant significant cost and operational savings.”
TransNexus will demonstrate NexOSS 6.0 at BroadSoft Connections 2013 in booth 28 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, CA, October 16-19.
